Fault or present

Possible root causes

Solutions

StepR Console without any Display

  1. No power supply 

Re-plug the Power cord to the AC socket, or check the AC socket

  1. Power switch not switched ON

Switch the Red power switch to the ON position

  1. Drive without power supply or damaged

Replacing the controller

  1. Open circuit of Electric watch signal line

Replace the communication cable and reconnect it

  1. The Electric watch is damaged

Replace the electronic table

Console Display

“- - -” and “Safety Stop Button Activated – Twist Emergency Stop Button to Unlock”

  1. Emergency Stop Button engaged

Switch the Emergency Stop Button clockwise to disengage

  1. Emergency Stop Button wire not connected properly or with poor contact

Check the Emergency Stop Button wires

E80 – Communication failure (The MCU does not receive the Console signal)


E02 – Communication failure (no MCU signal is received by the Console)

  1. The communication line of the LED Console is not properly connected or has poor contact

Re-connect the wires

  1. The communication line of the LED Console is damaged, with a short circuit or open circuit

Replace communication wires

  1. Electronic meter communication line malfunction

Replace the electronic table

  1. MCU communication line malfunction

Replace the MCU

E08and “Safety Sensor Activated - Press STOP button on Console to reset”

  1. The infrared sensor by the entry of the StepR is blocked by obstacles

Remove the obstacles and press the STOP button

  1. IR sensor failure

Replace the sensor

  1. Controller faulty

Replace the controller

E48 – No speed sensing signal (with speed sensing driver)

  1. The speed signal line is not connected, or the sensor is damaged

Reinsert the speed signal line or replace the sensor

  1. Poor sensing circuit of the controller
