Getting started

What is STEPR+?
STEPR+ is the 27" HD touchscreen platform that powers classes, tracking, and entertainment on your STEPR. It includes the screen hardware and the software experience.

Do I need a subscription?
No. Core features including coach led classes, scenic sessions, and entertainment apps work without a STEPR membership. (Third party app logins still apply.)

Do I need Wi-Fi?
Yes, for streaming apps, classes, and software updates. You can still do basic workouts offline, but the best experience uses Wi-Fi.

How do I set up profiles?
Create household profiles on the console so each person keeps their own stats, goals, and preferences.

Streaming & apps

Which entertainment apps can I use?
Popular options like Netflix, YouTube, Spotify, Prime Video, Hulu, Paramount+, TikTok, and Instagram are available on STEPR+. You’ll sign into each with your own account.

Can I stream and work out at the same time?
Yes. You can stream while climbing, jump into classes, or use QuickStep goals, your metrics continue to track.

Headphones and heart, rate straps, are they supported?
Yes. Pair Bluetooth® headphones for private audio and supported Bluetooth® heart rate straps for on screen HR.

Training experience

What workout content is included?
Coach led on demand classes, scenic sessions, QuickStep goal modes, and free stepping no paywall for platform features.

What’s new with challenges and badges?
Monthly challenges and collectible badges are built in to keep you motivated, with a refreshed Home screen to surface what’s next.

Settings, controls & privacy

Where are Advanced Settings?
Advanced Settings are available on the console (for power users who want deeper customization).

Can I exit a streaming app quickly?
Yes. Use the new “Exit Streaming” option to return to training or the Home screen in a tap.

PIN and privacy controls?
You can set or adjust a console PIN. Recent updates improved PIN adjustments and onboarding clarity.

Do updates install automatically?
Yes, when connected to Wi-Fi, updates download/install automatically. You can also check for updates in Settings.

How do I check my software version?
Open the console Settings and view the About / Version section.

Troubleshooting tips

Streaming froze. What should I do?
Use Exit Streaming to return to the platform, then reopen the app. Ensure you’re using the latest software.

Metrics look off. How do I improve accuracy?
Make sure you’re on the latest update (it improves step counting and SPM stability). Reboot the console if needed and resume training.

The UI feels slow. Any quick fixes?
Confirm you’re connected to a stable Wi-Fi connection and on the latest update. The newest release adds preloading, smoother scrolling, and faster switching.
